Sunday, September 30, 2012. When I am out shopping I can never remember size dimensions or have it written down. I am a visual person. I am currently on the hunt for some new pillow covers for my sofa. So I take a photo with Skitch and label the size and save to my Evernote notebook. Also looking for a mirror to go over mantle. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. This Blog is a Little our of Practice. Since I last wrote, we moved to a whole new town. I have gone back to school and subsequently ended my 10 year stint as a stay-at-home Mom. I have also taken a hiatus from photography. What better place to start then with my own family. Friday, January 6, 2012. I struggle with being present. In photos, that is. Like all hobby photographers, I want the camera all the time. I never hand it off and ask someone to take a photo of me, not even my husband. Then I have to switch it to auto, maybe put a different lens on. I will want to see what me and the kids did together, to remember that I was there too, and to discuss if I looked better as a brunette or a blonde.
Wednesday, August 12, 2009. How does YOUR garden grow? In the meantime I buy all our fruits and veggies organic at the store or local co-op and just. I love living in denial. Hey, it works for me. Chopped Greens, romaine, spinach, etc. Thin slice of sweet onion, diced.
